The Mattock is a tool in the Tinkers' Construct mod. It acts as a hybrid between a shovel, axe, and hoe.

Its maximum durability is calculated .75*(Axe head durability+shovel head durability)*handle multiplier.

Crafting

To craft, place a Tool Rod, Axe Head, and Shovel Head  in the correct slots of the Mattock tab in the Tool Station.

Usage

Right-click to till soil, like a hoe.

Notes

• The Mattock is not intended as a fully functional universal Shovel and Axe. It is only effective when used to mine dirt and wood. It is useful as a multi-purpose farming tool, but cannot fully replace a shovel or axe. It does not clear sand or gravel at the speed of a normal shovel.
