Chicobos are baby Chocobos. They can be birthed by breeding a Male Chocobo and a Female Chocobo with each other.

DO NOT BREED CHOCOBOS IN WATER. Doing so will cause the Chicobo to spawn in water, and because they do not immediately start swimming, the Chicobo may tragically drown.

Evolution

Sometimes Chicobos can be a different color than its parents because of the evolution chain. This happens when you give the parents Loverly Gysahls, (20% chance of evolutionized baby) or Golden Gysahls (50% Chance). As Chocobos gown down the evolution path, they gain better abilities. Growing Up

Chicobos usually grow up within ten minutes. You can instantly make them grow up though with Gysahl Cakes or reverse the process with Chibi Gysahls, which make the Chicobo stay a Chicobo forever unless reversed with Gysahl Cake.

To force a Chicobo to grow up with a Gysahl Cake, you must first tame the Chicobo. Otherwise, it will not eat the Gysahl Cake.

If Chicobos are stuck in fences, they do not grow up. Simply push the Chicobo out of the fence if this is the case.

Naming

Naming Chicobos requires a Chocopedia.

To make the name visible:

1. Right-click on the Chicobo or Chocobo; this will open an interface.
2. If you do not like the current name, rename it.
3. Click <show name>.
4. Right-click again to exit the interface.
