The Monocle is an item added by the Bibliocraft mod. Aside from its smashing fashion, it interfaces with all Bibliocraft items which have a hidden text display such as the Armor Stand(Bibliocraft), Printing Press, Bookcases. It is used to see item names on shelves, the number of Print Press Chases in a Typesetting Table, etc. It has the same uses as the Reading Glasses and Tinted Glasses.
People who are particular about their character's appearance may enjoy the unique flair of the Monocle.
It gives the player 0.5 (a half) armor on the armor bar if put on the head armor slot.
