The Poison Staff is typical staff, crafted with a poison essence and staff (Shapeless). If the player uses it as a melee weapon, it will poison the target. By right clicking, the player can also poison multiple targets at long range, though at the cost of more uses. The poison buff ignores defense, making it useful for armored targets, such as those with shields or the Walker Boss.
