The Stone Shield is one of the shields added by the Asgard Shield mod. The stone shield has higher knockback and damage than the Wooden Shield, but suffers low successful block chance. It has a durability of 131. It inflicts 1 heart of damage and does 1.5 blocks of knockback with each hit. When not guarding, the shield absorbs 15% of damage taken. Its weakness is explosions, and the stone will break easily under strong overwhelming damage. Its special perk is fire protection. When on guard, the shield will reduce fire damage by 50%.

The Stone Shield can be used by placing it in the hotbar, and right clicking with your weapon equipped, this is a handy way to switch between your weapon and your shield quickly.
