The Wide Guard is an item in the Tinkers' Construct mod. It is used to craft Broadswords in the Tool Station.

Acquisition

One way to craft a Wide Guard is with a Part Builder. Put a unit of the desired material and a Wide Guard Pattern in the Part Builder. Wide Guards have a material cost of 0.5.

The other way to craft them is with the Smeltery. Fill a Wide Guard Cast with the liquid metal and let it cool.

Various Tinkers' Construct tool parts, including Wide Guards, can be found in the chests in a house in most villages.
